2074660827 Received a call from this number claiming I won . million in a USA powerball sweepstakes. Never entered one, don't play the lottery. They had my address even though it's unlisted. Never got to the point of the scam but I am very certain it was. Been receiving numerous calls stating I won money lately, this was the first that had a number on my caller ID.

207-466-0827 I understand being a little gun-shy. I am not asking for anything that the perps don't already know. I need details about the transactions. Where moneygrams were sent from where they were picked up and dates and times. I know you feel everyone has put 'all the details' on here but they aren't the details we need. I have read over and over that 'I got ripped-off'. This is the important detail to the person who lost their money but unfortunately that helps us very little, as we already know that multiple people have been taken. You do not have to use your personal email. Just create one just for this case on hotmail or yahoo. You can't get your computer destroyed sending an email and you can log in and check this new email every day or so from a public library. If my computer gets fried, I will check out another one and continue to try to get to the bottom of this. As far as comments that you reported this to your local police, well that is great but if we don't know who this local agency is, we can't get that report. The world is not CSI Miami on TV. All the LE in the US is not getting info sent to and from each other constantly. Even if we could do this, every agency could not possibly read all the reports filed daily across America. The Police are not 'that dumb'. We can't give a magic solution without assistance. Once again, if You have any doubts, contact your local police and show this to them. Have them email me with their name agency and location. I will then contact them and explain to them who I am, where I work and the other Officers on this case. Then you can simply have them send me a copy of your local report. If you do get that national news story, be sure and explain that you chose not to try to work with the officers who are trying to solve this. Please email me at [email protected] /* */ .
