| 2086399572 | Approx noon on -- I recieved a call from this number to my private cell and when answering there was nothing but dead air space. I called back from another phone and a recording says I have reached 'Diversified Consultants'. Eventually a female call-center worker answered and asked why I was calling, I told them my number was called and no one was there, just dead air. They asked for the phone number that was called and I said before I give that I just wanted to know just what their company does, and she instantly became defensive and evasive and would not tell me. She wanted my private cell number before she would answer further. I thought that was very shady and a definite red flag for a scam so I hung up and looked up Diversified Consultants online. I called again, this time male call worker answered. Once again I politely asked him to briefly explain what his company does and all he would say is that they are a 'risk management' company. I politely asked for one or two brief examples of risk they manage, but once again he would not tell me anything about the company and wanted my phone number. I told him that I looked them up online and Diversified Consultants Inc is listed as a debt collection agency specializing in telecom phone and cable accounts. He absolutely would not confirm this and again asked for my private number and I said that it was private and sensitive info so before I gave it I just wanted him to be honest and not so evasive about exactly what his company does.
