806-395-2809 I have received two phone calls from -- which originated in Borger, Texas - In the past I have been bothered by Jamican scam artists and feel this is just another attempt to extort money - They say I owe money to the IRS - Can't the authorities do something to run these jerks out of the country and stop this fraud?

806-395-2809 Scammer who poses as the IRS - I did not answer - But message stated: "The IRS is filing suit against you - To get more information regarding this case file, Please call immediately department number () - - I repeat: () -, Thank You" A cursory search on the internet will show this number is a wireless number owned by Verizon - The US Government (in particular, the IRS) will NEVER call you, especially from a wireless phone - They will always have a landline, HOWEVER, first they will always send a letter of any action against you, such as an audit - This is a scam to get your Social Security Number and to extort money from you - They will state that you owe the IRS x,xxx -xx amount of money, which you will have to pay (by a certain date) in order to avoid jail time & more monetary penalties - DON'T BUY INTO THIS LOAD OF CRAP

806-395-2809 I have missed several calls from this number - Today I answered and it was a recorded message that stated "We have been trying to reach you - The reason for our call is that the IRS is filing a lawsuit against you-" at that point I received another call and did not hear the rest of the message - Wouldn't the IRS be interested in this?
